Chow Time

After playing at the park it was time to fill our bellies!!!

Lots of Yummy food, Dad's fried chicken, potato salad, mac n cheese, veggie pizza, pumpkin crunch cake! Did I mention how good it was for us and calorie free?!?! HeHe!!!

Big Thanks....

I know I have said numerous times how lucky we are to live "close to home" and be surrounded by family and friends but I have to say it once again!

Last Saturday was proof once again we couldn't do it without our family! Friday night Tim got home after 8pm from being at Med Check for over 2 hours with an ear infection! So infected that the Dr gave him vicodin to help with the pain which he couldn't take b.c he was DJing that night and had Bella duty all day Saturday! I had to work from 7am-7pm Saturday so Tim was left with Bella, a leaking (major) water heater, and a ear infection! The troops...my mom and his dad came to the rescue! Mom came over to do lunch with Bella, play and get her down for her afternoon nap, so Tim could take his pain reliever and go to bed! Dad M came to fix the water heater...which ended up being replaced at only 4 years old but Whirlpool and Lowes replaced at no cost with a new one! YEAH!

All in all everything worked out and Tim is slowly but shirley feeling better!

I don't have time to pose for a picture...I got lots of pumpkins to look at!

We got our pumpkins and we are headed back to the barn to get some yummy cider and warm up!!!

Today Sarah and I bundled up the kiddos and headed to Stuckey Farm's Apple Orchard and Pumpkin patch! We have done this for years with Alex, Olivia and Jackson. We picked a great day, a little chilly but there was no crowd and still lots of pumpkins to choose from! We did miss the morning session of watching them make apple cider.

Tonight I made some delicious apple crisp from the apples we got there today!

Gettin' It....

I think we may be a little closer to having a walker in the house, even though she has been walking around things for months now...we think she might be just chicken to let go!!! Although I know I will be in trouble when she final does get up and go!!!

Today we did nothing special...church this morning, lunch at McAlister's with Grammy J, ran some errands, watched football, took naps, dinner, laundry, bath, bedtime stories and sweet dreams!!! It was a pretty lazy Sunday and we loved it!!!

Look at this mess...she was something else while eating dinner tonight! We think she purposely makes a mess to insure she will have a bath each night! We were trying to feed her dinner tonight and if she was not getting what she wanted she would throw her hands up on her face and her head backwards! We fear this is a preview of fits to come! She makes us laugh all the time at her little (BIG) personality coming out...a lot of the time we are turning our heads so she doesn't see us laughing at what she is doing!

Dates with Daddy....

Daddy met mommy and Bella for lunch after his haircut at Muldoon's in Carmel!

It was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon!

Bella was very busy watching everything! Daddy says she gets being nosey from me!

hehe Tim and I got to go on a date Thursday night! We enjoyed a yummy dinner at Binkley's where we talked and laughed with no interruptions. Then went to Average Joe's and threw some darts. It was a very close round but came down to a bulls-eye that Tim hit first, so I lost! BOO!!! He also taught me how to play this new bowling arcade game which was addicting!!! We really enjoyed the night and being together as a couple! It is important for me to find time for us to keep our relationship alive as we build our family! I want our children to grow up knowing that their parents have fun together and love each other! I know with how crazy life gets sometimes that is a task that may not always be easy!

Hayden hosted play group for us yesterday! It was lots of fun! The kids really enjoy being around and interacting with each other!!!

BREAK THROUGH: I realized during play group Bella's bottom left molar has finally broken through her gums!!! Just 3 more to go.

That makes 9 pearly whites for the little lady!!!

Amazed....

Last week we had to de-Bellaify her crib because she was ruining it by thinking she was a little beaver and chewing on it, her bumper she always stood on and the bed skirt was dragging on the floor since we dropped the mattress!

When I took the skirt off the crib her babies hat was under her bed. I gave it to her and didn't think much of it...minutes later I notice she was missing and I found her in the other room where she was trying to put her babies hat on!

I was amazed she knew where the baby was and went to find her to put her hat on.

These little ones are just sponges and absorbing everything around them. I am amazed at what they understand and remember already at only a year old!

She sees her shoes and know they go on her feet, brushes her hair with her brush, tooth brush for her teeth...so on and so on!

This is one of Bella's favorite toys right now. Her Noah's Ark that "Auntie" Sara and Uncle Ryan got her for her baptism...you put the animals in the right shape they fall down and then we open the bottom and get them out! Anything that things go in and out of she loves! Anyways today she was putting the circle one in the right shape. Smart little girl...I know I am very bias though!

Last Monday we started a new schedule. I am working every Monday and Wednesday. When I am working Bella will be going to Mrs Jenny's house. It seems to be a perfect fit for us and Bella did great with it! She has one other child she is watching and a daughter who is 3 months older than Bella! It is more of a play date twice a week.

I then will work every other Saturday and Sunday where I tried out day shift last weekend! We will see what hours I end up working! I am thankful I have a job that I can play around with my schedule until we find something that works!

Bella spent most of Saturday with Daddy and then went to spend the night with Grandma and Papaw M. They went to Aunt Suzi's for dinner so yet another night to play with her cousin, Wyatt!

Thank you for taking care of her for us!!!

Sunday Tim and Jim went to the Colts game where yes The Blue

won again!!! Bella and Grandma M stayed home and watch the game, Bella napped and mommy worked. We all met at Outback for dinner afterwards! Yummy!
When Bella was away Saturday she started saying Eee, Iiii, , Eii, Iiii...Ohhh when singing Old McDonald. Too Cute!
