Cat Bath

Tuesday when I got home from work Bella had a fun day with Aunt Rachel and Great Aunt Beth but she was dirty! We only had a little time before heading to Tim's softball game and then to dinner so I stripped Bella down and gave her a quick bath in the sink.... well it turned into a little longer than I had thought because she was having sooooo
much fun!

After dinner gets pretty crazy with trying to pick up from dinner, get bags ready for the next day, bath, stories and bedtime! This week we have tried to enjoy it and let the dishes sit for a little bit! We've taken Bella outside to play and just one on one mommy and daddy time! It has been good for all of us!

We have had BEAUTIFUL weather all week too!

PS I think the picture above Bella's face looks more like a little girl!

Friday night we had everyone over for Mom's Birthday celebration! It was fun just all being together ! We kept it simple which was nice so we had more time together....I made big salad and ordered Bazbeaux pizza and Rachel got cupcakes from Flying Cupcake that we all really enjoyed!

5 Years....

Happy 5th Anniversary,

I'd do it all over again in a minute!

You still make me laugh daily one of the things I love the most about you! I am so thankful for the funny, caring, hardworking and loving husband and daddy you are!

Today we finally made it to the Fresh Market that opened a month ago and we LOVED it! Tim had fun shopping there! We got some nice steaks there and enjoyed them with some mushroom soup, salad, roasted asparagus and potatoes! Being home doesn't happen a lot for us so we enjoyed making dinner together and eating!

For some reason she didn't want me to take a pictures even though in front of the mirror she loved it!

They only lasted an hour but it is a start! This made me a little sad once I put them in her hair and then looked at her she looked soo big!

PS Bella is going to get confused what piggies are...the animal, her toes or pigtails!

Addie's Birthday was postponed because her belly didn't feel so good so we were happy to see here and give her some Birthday love on Tuesday!

Tuesday we were suppose to go to Splash Island Water Park but due to the bad storms we couldn't so Sarah opened her sun porch up for a play date! I love the sun porch kids think they are outside but keeps the weather out!

Even though the rain kept us out of the water park we still had fun!

We had a night full of fun at Benihana's celebrating Angie and Amy's Birthdays on Monday night!

Sunny Sunday....

Sunday after church we went to Bub's with my parents we had to wait a little bit to get in so Bella occupied her time with chap stick! She loves it!
It was a beautiful August summer day!

Fun at the Carney's

Jason, Susan and Elizabeth invited us over for dinner tonight.

Bella and Elizabeth had fun playing together while we caught up with Jason and Susan! Then we all enjoyed a Yummy dinner with Jason on the grill preparing perfect steaks and Susan in the kitchen making the rest!

We had hoped that Bella would take a early nap on the way to Martinsville to visit the Mize's but she decided mommy and daddy needed some good entertainment during the long ride! Of course as we were pulling onto their street she fell asleep!

Friday we enjoyed spending the day with JR and his family. They were in town visiting from Charlotte! We always have so much fun with them we sure wish they lived closer!
