My Birthday Day....

Another Day Of Celebrating...HOORAY!!!

I am really getting use to this!!!

We started out the morning after with returning the moonwalk to the party store and picking up our doggies! Bella loves when they ride in the van with her!

THANK you to the Reussers for keeping Zoe for us and the Kirks for watching Peyton for us this weekend! It was a huge help!!!

Now for the real fun....Grammy J took the day off work so we could play! We started out with lunch where Bella and mommy shared a smoothie! Bella's new favorite and some grilled cheese with fruit!

Then we took her to Penney's so we could get some actual pictures of her on her 1st Birthday! We also bought a small cake that she dug into and got everywhere at the end of the photo shoot, it was hilarious to watch and she had lots of fun doing it!
Then we were off to visit Great Grandma where she had a lucky dollar for her and a beautiful dress that will probably be her Easter dress next year!
It was a day full of girl fun!
When we got home at nearly 5pm Bella hadn't napped for the day so Grammy J rocked her to sleep so she could get some rest in before her birthday dinner!
Tim and I both grew up getting to pick our Birthday dinner out so this will be a tradition we carry on with our children! We took her to the new Pizza King around the corner from our house and she loved the pizza. She also was big flirt with all the pizza guys! Then had to go to Dairy Queen for a Birthday treat, a small cup of vanilla ice cream. She had just as much fun hitting together the 2 plastic spoons as she did eating her ice cream.
Once we got home she as rocked to sleep...and we kissed our little one year old goodnight! WOW...she really is one...it is so hard to believe!
We hope it was a wonderful first birthday for our little girl!!!

Bells's New Baby....

I walked into Bella's room this morning at 9:10 am when she finally woke up...poor thing was exhausted from all the partying the day before! Anyways, opened her door with a Big HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish, her sippy in my hand and new baby in the other! Any other day she would of reached right up for me to sweep her out of her crib..not today, she reached for her baby sat back in her bed loved and checked her baby all out! She was in her crib another good 5 minutes before she wanted out...baby in tow though!

I think it is too cute that she is so into this little baby doll! Maybe she will be a baby doll kid like I was!

Thanks to the McCall family for getting Bella this wonderful present that she loves!

How many people does it take to take down the moonwalk??? Really we were glad they were there to help, because Tim and I put it up and it was a little heavy and hard for just two people!

Rain Delay....

Birthday Parties have always been a big deal in our family so Bella's Raye first was all set to be a huge party! Really, what it comes down to is that we are so blessed with a big family and many friends and a wonderful but quaint home so we split the parties into two days!

So everything was ready:

house cleaned,

food bought, and prepared

dogs taken to friends,

moonwalk picked up

so on and so on...

you all know what it takes to put on a party

BUT then....

We pondered all morning what we should do since there was 70% chance of rain predicted and looking at the radar there was 2 sets of storms headed right our way. Again we had a moon walk, sandbox, food to grill, many outdoor activities and our wonderful but quaint house ...sooooo

3 hours before Izabella's first party was suppose to start we had to call everyone and postpone the party until Sunday morning! BOOO!!! We are so appreciative too all of our friends for being understanding and still coming on Sunday for the celebration!!!!

Then no rain for 2 more hours but right before 4pm the rain started and rained most of the night so it confirmed we made the right decision!!

Colts vs. Saints...

Once we got inside the Dome more celebrating and fun continued for the pre-game!
John Mellencamp preformed Small Town, and introduced Jim Irsay who presented the new

World Champions Banner to hang in the dome.

The done was a roar...and I am so glad Tim and I were both able to witness it!

We had lots of fun especially watching a Colts victory over the New Orleans Saints!

We are looking forward to another good football season!!!

Season Opener Held In Indianapolis...

The gang getting ready for the big game!

Indianapolis was proud to be home of the 2006 World Football Champions and be able to host the start to the 2007 season.
There was a free concert around the circle featuring, Hinder, Kelly Clarkson and Faith Hill.
There was an estimated 100,000 there!
There were billboards, signs, banners wrapped around all the trash cans,

this HUGE sign was hung over a crosswalk right in front of the dome! The city was decked out and ready to throw a party for some football!

It was a lot of fun to be in the city for the game!

She was destine to be a Colts Fan with the family she was born in! The day she was born last year was the season opener for the Colts. She arrived 16 minutes before the game started. The TV was on for the kick-off and to watch

IZABELLA RAYE Is 1 Year Old Today!!!!

We can hardly believe that it has been a year since our sweet little girl was born and yet it is hard to remember time before she was here!

Tim and I have both said that today is a little bittersweet!!! Bitter because our baby is 1 and although you want your child to grow and hit all their milestones...just wish that the pace and time could slow down a little bit! Sweet though because she is ONE...she is a very healthy and happy baby that has blessed our life as our daughter! We are amazed still daily at the love, laughter and joy she brings to our lives!

Catching Up!!!!

It has been a big week and I am way behind on my blogging!!! I apologize! Colts game, some birthday celebrating and weather that didn't quite give us the ideal weather forecast for the weekend! I am way too exhausted tonight to explain but I will soon try to upload and sort through over 200 pictures that were taken in the last 5 days and explain!

This week is busy one too...lots of plans for Bella's Big Day tomorrow, work, 2 Dr appts this week! I will try to keep you all posted!

Morning Treat....

A Fruit Smoothie!!!

" This stuff is good and NO lid...awesome mom!"
" Going in for more...Don't know if I am ever going to take this cup away from my face!"
"I'll smile mom but I am really unhappy you took that cup away from me!"

Izabella has never been a wonderful breakfast eater for me although she will do good for Grammy J and every one else. Tim and I aren't big breakfast eaters either though. I am never too concerned because she chugs her morning sippy in no time flat and always eats a good lunch and dinner!

Anyways this morning I decided to make a fruit smoothie for my breakfast and thought I would see if Bella would like it! She sure did!!! May be our new breakfast!

Smoothie:

1 cup Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt

1 handful blueberries

5 strawberries

1 handful ice cubes

Blend until smooth...Enjoy

Love/Hate Relationship....

NO HARM WAS DONE TO BABY WHILE TAKING THE PICTURE!!!!

She just has developed quite the attitude for what she likes and doesn't like.....

Bella had been walking around her jumping all morning so I decided to see if maybe she had changed her mind bout liking it...obviously NOT!!!
Seconds later she decided it was ok if mommy stayed right there and as long as I wasn't trying to contain her so I could get something done!
SO...we loved our Jolly Jungle Jumpy and it was well worth the money for the 5 months that Bella loved it and could stay in it for hours....BUT we think Bella has outgrown it not but size but by choice! We think it is time to share it with another one of our little friends!

Our little Bella likes it all! We really hope that this continues!

We went to Skyline Chili a couple weeks ago and she loved her little chili dog and some of mommy's 3 way chili!

She also loved her popsicle treat for a minute until we think she got a brain freeze!

Baby Girls

Last Wednesday we got the privilege to watch Little Zo for the day! She is such a sweet little baby! She was a very good little girl only heard her cry once when I was trying to hold her off near the end of the day so her mommy could feed her!
Thursday we took Sarah lunch and couldn't wait to get our hands on Libby! She is just precious!Bella was wonderful with both of the babies, gently touching each of them and saying "Hi baby!"She would worry when they would cry but then just leave them alone and play with her toys!
It is amazing how quickly all the little ones around us are quickly growing and changing!
It is so much fun!
