Healing

Friday Tim had is post op appointment and he is healing wonderfully!!!
The incision looks great and the swelling is down! We were actually quite impressed with the Dr Smerek's precision with the incision... it is a perfect stitch! Next week he gets the stitches out and then he can start physical therapy. Once he has range of motion in his ankle he can drive!!! He will still not be able to any weight on his leg for 6 more weeks so he'll be on crutches still but have driving privileges back is HUGE!
We have been blessed by the overwhelming help we have had by family and friends!
Thank you all for the prayers, well wishes, meals and driving Bella and Tim around!
We are beyond grateful to you!!!

The Kiwanian Pancake Supper that benefits Riley Children's Hospital!

Captain Anderson's

We all enjoyed a YUMMY seafood meal at Captain Anderson's, Bella even loved the fish!!

"Because it's our last night!!!"

After a long day on the boat we headed back to the condo to clean up, pack up and prepare to leave the next morning.

I was about 30minutes into getting organized when Bella asked to go to the ocean. I asked her why she wanted to go and she said, "Becuase it is our last night!"

So minutes later we were down at the beach! I couldn't say no and who cares if all our clothes are jammed in a suitcase to go home!

This was one of the best hours of our vacation... to soak up and enjoy the FL sunset, collect shells and running up and down the beach with my girl!

Thank you, Bella, for helping me to take time and truly ENJOY the "our last night at the beach"!

I had to get a picture of this...one of Bella's favorite things to do...

The "eleGator"!

Shell Island

Friday we rented a pontoon for 1/2 of the day!

It started out pretty overcast but ended up being a gorgeous last day!

We have landed... on Shell island!

The kids had fun snorkeling and exploring over the rocks. They found hermit crabs, a horseshoe crab that was awesome, 2 baby stingrays, puffer fish and numerous other schools of fish.

Bella really enjoyed exploring! We all had a fun day! We had hoped to see lots of dolphins on our adventure but we only saw one set on our way in.

Tim had to enjoy the views from the boat with a bag on his leg but he was good with that too!
