Boone County Fair...

ANIMALS...

Checking out the baby chicks that had just freshly hatched!

Petting the calf and feeding the pony in Old McDonald's Petting farm.

Petting a lamb and a llama!

RIDES....

Bella wasn't so sure about this mini roller coaster once it started but she said she had fun once she got off! :)

Wyatt braved the swings and LOVED them! When he got off the ride he said, "that was wicked!"
Wednesday night we met Tim's family out in Lebanon for the Boone County Fair. Of course had to have the not so healthy but o so good corn dog and elephant ears before we ventured around looking at the animals. As soon as the kids spotted the rides that was all they could think about!

Obstacle Course...

At the fair they had a big blow up obstacle course for the kids to do!

Wyatt very quickly up the wall!

Bella had to work a little harder but she did it!
They both had TONS of FUN!

Touch a Truck

Today we went to Carmel's Touch a Truck event!
Kids get to climb up and act like they are driving many vehicles.
Watching the med helicopter take off was very exciting!

We ran into some friends from work Leah and Peggy and their boys, Cole, Parker and Ethan!

Talking over the cb radio!

Sending help your way!

Handing out mail and hoping to not get scooped up by the big front loaders shovel!

Driving a cement truck!

Another HOT but FUN summer day!!!

Coxhill Gardens

Bella spent the weekend at my parents when I was working and Tim was camping. Monday my mom took Bella to Coxhill Garden's in Carmel. They have these great mini house and grounds to explore! Of course Bella's imaginations was on that day and Grammy and Bella had a great time!
They also went to visit Aunt Beth and Gigi for a picnic and a fun day of playing, unfortunately there weren't any pictures taken! :(

Carter's Toy Museum...

Last week we met Ann, MiMi and their Cousin Clarie in Zionsville for lunch and to check out the Carter Antique Toy Museum.

We had fun on the bumper cars and riding many "quarter" rides that I remember as a kid!

The also have a cute "mini" carousal that the girls loved. We finished our day off at their ice cream parlor and enjoyed a cool treat! It was another fun summer adventure!

Brickyard Festival

Each year the K of C that is blocks from our house host a Brickyard festival. We have never checked it out until this year!

Having FUN on the huge blow-up slide and the moonwalk

First time put-putting, so Daddy and Bella were discussing their golfing strategy. She didn't like the way Daddy showed her to put the ball but found her own way and impressed Tim and I with how well she did!

Yummy, Indiana corn they also had awesome pulled BBQ pork and brisket and we all shared an elephant ear for dessert!

Flying Toasters were there for us to enjoy too!!! Bella strumming her air guitar and chomping her elephant ear.
We had lots of family fun and we are glad that we wandered over to the festival this year!

It's Growing!!!

It is so fun to check out each day what is growing and what veggies will will have next!
It is amazing how quickly the weeds can take over but I have managed to just pull them and keep the garden completely chemical/pesticide free!!!

Tuesday we picked our first veggies and made a yummy salad. We had 2 cucumbers, lettuce, sweet banana pepper. We have TONS of green tomatoes, and jalapenos that hopefully will be ready soon and then I can make a big batch of salsa!
