The Many Faces of Wyatt James....

Wyatt is just a riot....always keeping you on your feet and entertaining. I guess that is a typical 2 year old but he has this gigantic personality!
We love spending time with him and always waiting to see what trick he has up his sleeve next!

Start Up The Band...

Can you see playing in a band in these girls future???
Yesterday Abby and Ella hosted our play date. It was a small group due to illness or other obligations for the other kids. We still had lots of fun and as always many laughs!
These girls are just too much fun!

In Loving Memory

This week Tim's great Uncle Junior passed away from complications with an illness. He will be deeply missed by many family members! Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Matha as she grieves the loss her beloved husband. Know that you have many family and friends who are her for you!

Bella's New Trick....

She can point....

just with the wrong finger!!!

She started this last Wednesday when the whole family was out to dinner! I was hoping it was a fluke but NO she points to different things all the time sometimes while swinging her finger around the air! I keep reminding Tim to watch his mouth that we have little ears listening now...he claims that she doesn't understand. Well maybe this is her way of showing daddy that she really does understand!?!? She had Tim and I crying last night during story time we were laughing so hard!
Well we know she will learn to point with her pointer finger but it will be a funny story to tell later!

Bella's Weekend Get Away....

Friday Bella went to Lebanon for the weekend because I had to work all weekend and Tim was working Friday and Saturday night! She was booked at the Boyett Inn on Friday night with cousin Wyatt as the main stage entertainment and Uncle Ernie as back up! She has tons of fun with Wyatt and all his toys! Wyatt is so good to share everything with Bella including his car that we hear she loved! She may have a new car in her future!
Hitting the Hood with Cousin Wyatt for a Friday night Stroll.
Saturday she was staying at the Maines' Estate with Grandma and Papaw Maines! Where she was sure to get much love!
Mommy and Daddy couldn't wait to see Bella again on Sunday morning we went to Grandma and Papaw Maines for brunch and to visit!
I had to return to work in the afternoon but Tim and Bella stayed all day for lots of fun!
Sunday evening Bella and Daddy went to Symphony at Sunset with everyone. I was so sad I missed this! The Indianapolis Orchestra comes to a park in Lebanon and plays many patriotic and show tunes for about an hour in a half and then there is a big firework show at the end!
Tim said Bella loved the fireworks as she starred into the sky. She was a little frightened at the end when the big boomers started going off but daddy said he just held her a little closer and she was fine!
We even got a special visit from Dr Beth who was in town all the way from Chicago!

In Loving Memory

Our family lost a loved one on Sunday morning. My Aunt Norma passed away from a long battle with cancer! We know she is free of her pain and called home to be with her Lord.
Our thoughts and prayer are with my Uncle Art and their children on the loss of his wife and their mother!
Today there was a beautiful service remembering all the wonderful moments that were shared with her throughout her life! She was a women who always took care of her family and people around her!

Another fun day at the Y

Addie and Bella diggin' through the pool toys
Bella loved swimming in the big pool with mommy.
She puts her face in the water like a big girl!
Annie showing Bella and Addie how all these toys work!
Drying off with the big girls Lucy & Olivia

It was another fun day with Bella as we met Molli, Cortne, Angie and all the kids at the Fishers YMCA. They have a wonderful kiddie pool with an zero entrance area so Bella could just sit and splash around! It was perfect for both mommy and Bella!
We could get use to this life....no work and all play!

Corn on the Cob!!!

"Really mom, this is people food?"
In for the taste test....

Yummy it is really sweet and I like it!

9 Month Appointment...

Yesterday Izabella had her 9 month well appointment with Dr Layman. She once again came out of it with flying colors. She actually preformed many of her tricks when the Dr was asking what she could and couldn't do! Her prediction was that she would be crawling before the end of the week! Last night Tim put his cell phone about 2 ft in front of her and she did move forward about 3 times usually she moves backwards and then gets frustrated when she gets stuck somewhere.

Here are her 9 months Stats:
Weight: 18lbs 6 oz (50%)
Height: 28 3/4 inches (75%)

SPAGHETTI

We gave Bella Raye spaghetti for dinner on Tuesday night and once again she LOVED it! She think she is hot stuff when she is eating big people food! We know our days of baby food are truly limited!!!
It wasn't nearly the mess I thought it would be but Tim still took her right to the tub when dinner was over!

Evanston Country Club

Splashing around in her new pool!

Bathing Beauty!
Who needs the Y or Country Club when you have this...haha!
I thought we both could fit in this baby pool...barely...we may be moving on to a bigger pool!
Served the purpose and Bella loved it!

This morning Bella and I played in her pool for nearly 2 hours as soon as we went in for lunch, the it got cloudy and it started raining!?! Not sure what that was about just glad we got to enjoy some sun this morning before the clouds rolled in!

I love Rock & Roll

R.O.C.K in the USA !!!

Bella's jam session this morning...with her punk hair style and all!!! Hopefully she gets her musical abilities from her daddy! She cracks me up all the time!
Happy 7th Wedding Anniversary
Suzi and Ernie!!!!
7 years ago today Suzi, Tim's sister, and Ernie had a beautiful wedding at White River Gardens and a wonderful reception that followed in the dolphin pavilion at the Indianapolis Zoo. Their wedding was held on Father's Day. All the Father's there had special cookie treat waiting for them and dance to celebrate.
We can't believe that it was 7 years ago! Where has the time gone???
They have created their own lovely family with their amazing son, Wyatt!
We wish you many more years of happiness, laughter and love!
We love you both!

Happy Father's Day!!!

"HAPPY FIRST FATHER'S DAY, DADDY!!! I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!"

My dad with his kids....
My Sister, Rachel, myself and My Brother, Ryan
"Woof..Woof, Daddy!"
Tim's Dad and his kids....Suzi is missing she is in Texas visiting family and presenting at a conference for a week!
We missed both her and Wyatt during our Father's Day get together!

This morning Tim and I started off his Father's day with a wonderful breakfast in Broadripple at Petite' Chou. It was a beautiful morning and yummy breakfast. Then he was off to golf with his dad, my dad and my brother... a Father's Day tradition that they have done for years now! It was hot but fun round off golf for everyone!
Then we all joined up again at our house for a dinner! Tim grilled the dads favorite...STEAK.... to perfection! We exchanged some gifts, much laughter, and too many sweets!
Tim and I are both blessed to have terrific father's who we have always been able to look up to and turn to for whatever we needed!
We love you both!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to you and all the wonderful dads out there!

"Good Night My Angel" Billy Joel...

Tonight there was no "fighting" on who got to rock Bella to sleep...since it was Father's Day, Tim got to! It only took seconds for her to fall asleep since it was a late night of celebrating. Tim stayed in there for over 30 minutes just for because it is so relaxing and peaceful to rock her!
When I walked in to check on them...Good Night My Angel by Billy Joel was playing on her CD we play while she is going to bed each night. Tim had just told me earlier in the week that was his favorite song on the CD.
Tim is a amazing father to Bella! He has such a loving way with her.
Every time she sees him she gets this big smile and lifts her eyebrows...she love her daddy a lot!
I have every confident in him the 3 nights a week I work when he cares for her! This is a special bonding time they have with each other and I am sure the older she gets the more "Daddy and Bella" nights they will share!
Happy Father's Day, Tim!!!
You are a wonderful daddy! Bella and I are so lucky!!!

Celebrating The Upcoming Arrival of Miss Libby...

Sarah's family...those who were able to attend
The gang hangin' out after all the festivities...enjoying the lighting bug light show in our back yard!
Look at the blooming mommies...

Last night Tim and I hosted a couples baby shower for Sarah and Jason.
We had was so much fun and what a beautiful night it ended up being too. Yummy food, fun game of baby item pictionary, checking out all the loot Libby got and surrounded by family and friends anxiously awaiting the arrival of Libby!
This was the 2nd Saturday night in a row that neither Tim and I had to work....that has be a rarity in our household but we are trying to make more of a habit of it! We enjoyed it tremendously!
Congrats, Sarah and Jason...we are so happy and excited for you guys!

Creamy Treat

Pretty Flowers
Traders Point Creamery

Grammy J and Grandma

I wish this was my backyard!
(with goats Tim...hahaha)
Today we enjoy a wonderful afternoon with both of Bella's Grandma's! We had a wonderful lunch at the cafe at Traders Point Creamery. For dessert a ice cream treat! Too Good For Words!
I am in love with this little place...not only do they make wonderful organic dairy items it is on beautiful land in Zionsville! If I had known about his when Tim and I were getting married I would of had our rehearsal dinner there! It is just too cute and quaint. Beautiful fields!
I bought their chocolate milk, wildberry yogurt and some of their cheeses...I can't wait to try them! I fear once I start I won't be able to stop! Obviously I have no self control!!! They have a GREEN MARKET on Friday night...like a Farmers Market where you can also have dinner...this is on my list of must do this summer!
It was a wonderful afternoon!

PS I just have to brag on my little Bella Raye for a minute...we left the house at 9:30am and didn't get home until almost 7:00pm...just one of those days of errands and appointments and our long lunch! Bella just got a little nap on the run and was a wonderful little trooper all day!
We are so lucky!!!!

Play, Play, Play....

Still trying to get the line-up where everyone is in it and looking at the camera....don't know if that will ever happen!
Bella, Addie, Emily & Claire
"Let's Make Some Music Girls!!!"

Yesterday we had our third play date at Angie and Addie's house! Angie is out of school for the summer so they got to join in the fun! YEAH!!! We also had new friends, Angie's niece and nephew, Brea and Zach.
Our little play group is something that I really look forward to.... having fun getting all the babies together and chatting with the moms!

Our First Babies....

Zoe 7 1/2
Peyton 4 1/2

Today I took Zoe and Peyton to the vet for their annual check- up. It is always an adventure with the two of them because Zoe has major anxiety with the vet and Peyton is just so excited. They are wonderful to Zoe but she has had numerous surgeries including an emergency c-section where we lost 5 pups and since then she hasn't been the same! She is a 100lb Lab and when we walk in the door she starts whining and trying to hide under my legs ...like they won't see her!? Again she is 100lb LAB!!!!It is funny to watch her! Dr Mullins is so sweet to the both of them.
Today we had a clean bill of health besides their regular allergies that are on going with Zoe and Peyton. Zoe had lost 14lbs from last year since we started her on Thyroid supplements and Peyton has gained 1lb in a year!
I feel guilty sometimes because since Bella has been born they are definitely on the bottom of the totum pole sometimes... when there was a time they were near the top!
Although they don't seem to notice, they seem happy as long as we are around. Peyton and Bella have just recently become good pals. Bella likes to play with his "paci" and he is so sweet, gentle, and patient with her. Zoe checks her out and then just resumes to her napping and head guard dog duties!
We are lucky to have such happy and loving dogs and most importantly wonderful with Izabella!

$2.89 AND $2.85

Yes, that is how much I got gas for this week!!! What is really bad is I was super excited about this deal I got on gas! When I started driving I can remember a gallon of gas coasting .89 cents! Both tanks only needed about a half a tank when I saw these gas prices and it still cost me almost $40 to top it off! Is that crazy or what?
So anyways both deals were found at Kroger gas stations!
I guess just save the $$$ where you can!

9 MONTHS!!!

"Yummy...Look at my Nilla Wafers!"

I love Watermelon Too!!!
Molli gave me this beer bottle at the race party and I liked the cold bottle on my gums!

This month has been full of new taste for Bella Raye! I think she has liked it all! If it was up to her she would probably be totally done with baby food and eating all table food but I like knowing exactly what she is eating! She gets so excited when big girl food is on her tray. Thursday night she had diced fruit, cheese cubes, pasta shells and yes the dreaded and gross meat sticks BUT she loved them! She does quite well with picking the food up with her fingers and feeding herself.
As far as her mobility...she can get where ever she wants by rolling and scooting... she gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth and then just laughs and flops on her belly! We have caught a couple of times trying to pull herself up on things.
She says "baba" all the time...ironically when it is time for her to eat and/or when she is tired she say it is with a lot more emotion behind it so we aren't sure if it is purposeful or not. A few times she has said "mama".
She has clapping mastered and is getting there with waving.
She still loves being in her jumparoo, being read too, playing on the floor with all her toys and watching Einstein. She has discovered her music table again and has lots of fun with that. Her new favorite thing is to empty her toy baskets and spread it all out to see what her options are. She also loves to be in the water at the pool.
It is sure hard to believe that she is 9 months old! Tim and I continue to have more and more fun with her!
