Friday Night

Yeah....my cousin Wyatt is here to have fun!!!

Earlier in the week Wyatt had told his mommy he wanted to go see his Aunt Alli, Uncle Tim and "my Bella Boo!" How cute is that?!!!
These two kids love each other! Wyatt can do anything and Bella just cracks up!
We had Aunt Suzi, Uncle Ernie, Wyatt and Aunt Rachel over for dinner Friday. It was nice to catch up and just relax and watch the kiddos play!
They both were so much fun in the bath!!! I think the water was cold because they were in there for so long and they still didn't want to get out!!!

Good Little Eater....

Since Bella started eating table food she has been the best little eater! We know we are very lucky and the older she gets her appetite may change but as of now she eats wonderful!
We tried scrambled eggs today and she loved them. She had no allergic reaction either!
YEAH!!! No kids meal here...Orange Roughy, Asparagus and Mushroom Rice

Thursday night this is what her dinner plate looked like and she ate it all and had seconds on the asparagus and rice!

I hope that only having to make one meal for the family continues!

Happy Birthday, Brian...

Saturday night we went out with friends to celebrate Brian McCall's 36th Birthday!
What a surprise it was to everyone when the Chicken-limo pulled up! It was hilarious!!!!
We had a great dinner on the patio at Canal Point Grill, danced to a good band and BW's 3 and went to the Mineshaft where Tim was spinning the tunes!
I haven't seen Tim DJ since I was pregnant it was fun watching him up there doing what he loves! He even played my 2 personal favorite request which I am sure the "young"crowd hadn't heard played there in awhile! Haven't danced like that in years...my calves are feeling it today!
We hope Brian had a fun night celebrating because we sure did!

Go Colts

Future Colts Cheerleader line-up!!!
Fallyn, Emily, Bella, Addie and Claire
You should of seen all the parents hooting, hollering and jumping all around to try and get the girls to all look at the same time!!!
This is the best I got!

The Harrison Girls

Colts Family

What game?

Addie, Bella and the other girls were too busy playing to pay attention to any game!

The Warner's had us all over to watch the Colts game! What a game and another victory for the Blue! YEAH!
I had fun watching the game and eating lots of yummy munchies but even more fun watching all the girls interact and move all over! They had lots of fun with all the new toys Emily and Claire just got at a big twins sale.

Zoo trip with friends

Started off the morning with feeding the giraffes...AJ and Eddie...
Glad "Auntie" Amber new the zoo schedule so we could enjoy fun activities at the zoo

We had front row seats as Tombi got her daily bath!
Amber and I were amazed by some of the elephant facts and the girls enjoyed just watching!
Baby Kedar rolling around in the dirt! What a cutie...
Let's Take a break and ride the train!
Next stop... Petting the sharks! Bella wasn't too sure about the whole thing.
Would rather just look at the pictures.
Baby Marice had fun playing with all the kids at the glass!
The brown bear was actually up and moving!
This is what Bella Raye looked like before we pulled out of the zoo. She had a day full of fun with Fallyn! They were wonderful little girls for our 3 hour zoo trip on not much of a morning nap! It was lots of fun and we hope to get a few more zoo trips in before winter! We sure have enjoyed our zoo pass that Grandma and Papaw M got us for Christmas last year! Thank you!!!

Also Bella had a extended play date with Fallyn on Monday while mommy and daddy were at work! "Auntie" Amber kept them busy! Luckily they napped at the same time! Check out their blog for some fun pics! (click on Amber's name to see)
THANK YOU for helping us out Monday!!!!

Family Time....

Thursday late afternoon we were pulling in from the grocery as daddy was pulling in from Louisville!!!
We were both so excited to see him and spend some time together!!!!
Bella needed a little nap so he was thrilled to rock her while I put the groceries away and got dinner ready!
We sat on the couch, talked, I took a little nap and did nothing which felt wonderful!
Bella got up and we had a nice dinner together, played, played and played!!! No TV or anything it was so nice to be home as a family with no interruptions and nothing else to do!!! We did bath time, story time and bed time together!
Friday was near ditto night of Thursday! Two nights in a row with just us and nothing to do, it was wonderful! During bath time Grammy J and Papaw stopped by to get their Bella fix!
Daddy did have to go and Dj tonight but we have all weekend together too!
I am looking forward to it!
If only we didn't have to work and just have days like this all the time!
Although I am thankful that I have a job where I can be off nearly 11 days around Bella's birthday and I have lots of flexibility with my schedule!

Play Group....

Ella and Bella on the run....
Hayden man of the group...just hanging watching the girls go although he is getting close to crawling around with them!
Miss Libby (5 weeks old) and Sarah hosted our play group on Thursday! It was great to see everyone since it had been almost a month since the last playgroup. It is amazing how much the little ones change in a month! They have become so much more interactive with each other!
Miss Libby slept nearly the whole 2 hours but near the end made her grand entrance! What a sweetheart she is and she has grown in her first 5 weeks too! She is 12lbs 9 oz and she also was giving her mommy so first smiles! So sweet!
Thanks for having us!

Zoe and Peyton's new diet...

Wednesday morning breakfast...
The dogs are constantly at Bella's high chair catching whatever she drops! She now is smart enough that if she doesn't like something it immediately gets thrown to the dogs!
I am sure they both have gained a few extra pounds...thanks to little Bella Raye!
Wednesday I had to work once again...after today I have 5 days off...yeah!!!
Since Tim was still out of town! Bella had a sleep over and Grandma and Papaw M's! She has become apart of their Wednesday Mexican night...she loves the rice, refried beans and chicken!
THANK YOU!!!
I have said it before but I couldn't imagine not having generous family and friends close who are willing to help us with Bella Raye!
We are blessed!!!

Sand Box Fun....

Bella got this wonderful turtle sandbox from a hand-me-down from the Kirk kids! We set it up for her Birthday Luau but haven't played in it since. I didn't know if Bella would enjoy it or not but I thought we would try it out real fast Tuesday afternoon while we let the dogs out!
Real fast didn't happen...she didn't care that it was lunch time or that I ran in the house to get the camera she didn't want to get out of the sandbox! When I finally pulled her out to eat lunch since it was way past lunch time she threw quite the fit!!!!
Guess we will be spending lots more time out in the sandbox!

Tuesday was a great girls day! I had worked all weekend and Monday so I was in some desperate need of Bella time! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday she was with Aunt Rachel, Grammy J and Papaw...THANK YOU! Sunday Auntie Sara came over to put her to bed and stay with her until daddy got home from Tennessee. He went there with some friends for the Colts game and boys outing they have been doing for years!
Anyways....back to our girls day....we played, snuggled and hung out in out pj's until the afternoon. When she went down for her afternoon nap I got cleaned up so when she got up we could run a few errands! She was a little trooper I didn't have much to do just in and out of a lot of stores! For dinner we met Aunt Rachel at Max and Erma's where she loved eating Aunt Rachel's baked potato soup! She loves soups....I think from now on I will just order a cup of soup for her!
After dinner.... home for a bath, stories and lots more cuddling for bedtime!

I was in bed shortly after she fell asleep! Great day...only thing missing was daddy!!! He left early Tuesday morning after getting home late Sunday night for Louisville. He was there until Thursday with work.

Where have we been...

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever! We have been super busy and here and there and finally last night after a week were back together all 3 of us in the house at the same time!!! YEAH!
It is Friday night just after 11pm and I just finished laundry and cleaning the floors, Tim is off to DJ tonight and Bella has been fast asleep for a few hours now! I should probably be right behind her but I am going to try to sort through some of our photos and get some posts done before I hit the pillow!
Bloggin' coming you way.....

1 year check-up....

Dr Layman and Miss Bella Raye!
We love our Dr especially when the staff is all in their Colts Blue Friday gear!

Waiting for the Dr with daddy.....

Shots are coming...little did she know!

Bella did great with her 1 year check up today!
Passed all the check off with flying colors! Even said "HI" to everyone when they walked in and showed off her rolling of the tongue to Dr Layman. She said her verbal skills were in the 15-18 month range...maybe she will be a talker like her cousin Wyatt!

Her Stats are as follows:

Weight: 19lbs 13oz
25 percentile

Height: 31 inches
95 percentile

Long and lean...just like I would like to be!!!
Dr wasn't concerned at all about her weight, said she was still gaining and has started moving a lot so she is just fine!!!!
She will go back in December!

Fall is in the Air...

Bella modeling one of her fun new fall outfits she got for her birthday! I thought she looked too darn cute (I am a little bias) and so big!!!
This week has been Beautiful!!! You can smell fall in the air! We have enjoyed the windows being open all week!
I even cooked up a pot of chili last night!
I love the change of seasons living in Indiana brings us!
Can't wait to bring the jeans and sweaters out!

Pear Please...

Bella has been exploring all over the kitchen lately! Opening drawers and doors to check out what is inside! Pulling bowls and books off the island!
I have moved things around to try and keep it safe! We also got out her fun magnetic farm the Reusser's got her for her birthday and put in on the dishwasher...it keeps her attention for a little bit.
ANYWAYS...she kept pulling out the faux pear I have and acted like she was eating it so I thought we would try and real pear! It was very ripe which was perfect once I peeled it!
She absolutely loved it!
To hear her slurp the juice from the pear was cracking me up!
There wasn't much left when she was done.
She never really cared for the diced canned pears but bring on the fresh ones!
Warning: It was a little messy and her diaper today wasn't so nice!

Riley Check-Up...

Bella slept right through both hearing test!
Wednesday afternoon we went to Riley Children's Hospital again for another check on Izabella's ears!
The audiologist said that her hearing in her left ear is with in normal range and everything looked good! Dr Miyamoto will see her back in 12 months for a CT scan to make sure the inner parts of the ear are there! He said that out of the 1,000 children he has seen with microtia only 1 child has not had their cochlear, so he is nearly certain that Bella's will be there! After the scan he will see what he has to work with once they do start surgery, which won't be until she is at least 6.
Walking in and out of the doors of Riley you realized how truly blessed you are!!
