Quiche...

I hadn't made a quiche in quite a long time and forgot how easy and yummy they are.
I love to cook up something good especially when it is easy!
I have served this as dinner with sauteed zucchini and mushrooms & Spring Mix Gorgonzola Salad
OR
I've just had it in the fridge to warm up for lunches!
It was great both ways.
Here is the recipe if you'd like to enjoy it yourself!
1 Deep Dish Pie Crust
4 eggs
2 cups half & half
4 oz shredded Swiss cheese (have used cheddar)
1 small diced onion
1/2 cup bacon
handful of fresh spinach (optional)
1tsp Red Pepper
1tsp Pepper
1tsp Salt
In pie crust put bacon, cheese, onion, spinach. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour in pie crust. I found it best to let set for 20minutes so it doesn't run over onto your baking sheet. Cook at 400 for 45-60minutes until knife comes out clean and golden on the top. ENJOY!

Giddy Up...

We had to ride the carousal twice when we were there...
as you can see the kids had a blast and
it was another great visit to the
Indianapolis Children's Museum!!!

Barbie...

Our Models showing the latest Spring Fashions,

Mia & Bella

The girls had lots of fun!
Asher played with the camera while the girls were strutting their stuff!

Bob The Builder...

My friend Natalie, was in town from Valpo to take her youngest to a Dr appts, so we got to play with Mia and Asher at the museum!
We were excited to check out the
new Bob the Builder exhibit, which
is perfect for preschoolers!

So much to do from planting a garden, to managing the water post, climbing on all the Can Do Friends, slides, help with building projects! We spent well over an hour exploring and can't wait to go back!

We hope you have a wonderful Birthday and all your wishes come true!!!
Lots of love,

Family Birthdays

On Friday night we met about 30 of Tim's mom side of the family members for dinner and to celebrate the many February Birthdays! Bella loved playing with her 3 younger 2nd cousins, Melanie, Molly & Lily. When we left she said they needed to come to our house to play!

Noodles in the Tub...

As I was cleaning up from dinner and Tim and Bella were doing the nightly routine I heard lots of giggles coming from the bathroom!
When I walked in this is what I found...
She has some foam soap that comes out looking like noodles and daddy decided to cover her with them!

Activites...all in ONE day!!!

Creative Drama....

On Thursday we had to make up Gymnastics and go to her 2nd of 4 Creative Drama Classes since she was sick earlier in the week. We also had a free Gymboree class so I thought since we were in the area we'd check out the Art Class. She enjoyed it sooo much and we had a great coupon that we signed her up just through May. After May we are hoping to be outside for the summer!!!

Art!!! She made a mask for Mardi Gras and macaroni bead necklace.

Gymnastics!!! Always sooo much FUN! I don't think she will be the next Mary Lou but she has lots of fun and it helps tons with her gross motor skills!

The end of the day....we were both exhausted but Bella was such a good girl!!!

Say a little prayer...

Saturday Bella gathered her babies and animals around and then they said a prayer!
It was too cute...luckily my camera was close so I had to snap a picture!
My prayer is... that she gets well and stays well soon! 2 weeks ago she had strep throat and was on Amoxicillin for 10 days and this weekend started running a fever again! We are on Zithromycin now...I hate giving her so many antibiotics but gotta get her well! Amazingly she is acting great if it wasn't for the fever you wouldn't know she was sick! She has been fever free for nearly 2 days so hopefully the Zithomycin is doing the trick!

Pizza Party...

For Valentine's we had our family over for a homemade pizza party!
We all had sooo much fun and the pizzas were delicious!!! We got the pizza crust from Trader Joe, it is only .99 and super yummy!! We will be doing it again soon!

Their Finished products! YUM!!!

Sending out some love...

Bella got busy Sunday morning and decorated all her Valentine cards for family!
She took quite some time and the finished products were beautiful!

Baking Sweets...

Bella and I had lots of fun over the weekend making many Sweet Treats for Valentine's! She is really such a good helper in the kitchen!
