Sour Face...

We met everyone after the concert at Bubs for lunch! Once again I was not disappointed with a new menu item!

Free Concert

Last Wednesday we met
Jenny & Emily, Amber, Fallyn and Charlie and took Libby

with us for another free concert at the Monon Center.

The kids had LOTS of fun!

Spring Time...

Although one morning we wake up and it is 28 degrees, frost on the ground and cloudy. ..then the next morning we wake and it is sunny and 52 degrees....

Spring is Here!!!

We love playing outside, having the windows open, the sun coming up and not quite set when I go and come from work. Grass getting green, trees in bloom, tulips, crocus, and daffodils poking through the ground, birds singing, listening the the rain!!!

I love the change of season and new fun coming!

Last Tuesday Bella and I joined some friends from work and got to meet the newest little ones! I loved getting my hands on them for a baby fix!

They are both so perfect, cute and good babies!

I hope to do it again soon!

Write it down...

I am always thinking you better write that down or record that... when Izabella says something funny or smart! I know how quickly our children continue to change, grow and learn. I wish I could remember it all but I know I can't. I must find a way record it since I never write it down. My memory is good but not that good!

Since this blog seems to be my forum for about everything else that goes in our life I thought I'd start sharing a few quotes for the week, month or whatever it may be!

*While trying to put Bella to bed last week she had a snag on her nail and she looked up at me and said, "cut my nails!" like duh mom ...did you forget to keep on on my personal care and now I have to remind you??!!! Patiently she sat as I trimmed each of her nails! Thanks for reminding me sweetie! *

* Again while Tim and I were reading stories before bed last week we asked her if she wanted mommy or daddy to put her to bed, she said, " no daddy's busy"*

*Friday Aunt Rachel took Bella to Target and while they were walking up and down the "drug store" part and Bella kept pointing to something and saying, "Bella." Rachel wasn't real sure what she was talking about, and finally pointed to the Miralax bottle that was on the shelf and Bella said, "That's Bella's, Mama puts it in my milk at night!"*

Anyways I am just constantly amazed at how aware of their little world they are and each day I seem to have better conversation with Bella! I can't believe how well she talks on the phone. Hope you enjoy the short stories of our days!

*Now a funny that daddy did this week....I was checking in with Miss Jenny as I always do and she said she had to tell me a funny story.... Bella had been at her house for a little over an hour and she came up to Miss Jenny a little panicked and said, "shu weee" so Miss Jenny assumed she had a dirty diaper. Jenny got down to change her but to her surprise she had NO diaper on and a little dribble on her leg! Yes, Tim forgot to put a diaper on her while he had changed her out of her wet clothes that morning! We all got a good laugh over that one! I called Tim and asked if he was starting potty training early? Tim was a little confused until I told him Bella had NO diaper on this morning...he just started rolling in laughter! The good thing that came out of it was Bella stayed dry that long and didn't continue to potty when she realized the diaper wasn't there to catch it! Maybe we will have some luck next month with our potty training attempt???? I hope!*

Cookies...

So for years while I would babysit Katelyn and Connor we would make cookies so while the little girls were down for a nap Katelyn and I made yummy cookies! This time Katelyn did most of it on her own! It was sure fun to spend the day with her too!

Icing...EVERY WHERE...

So we started with decorating Easter Egg Cookies and then it become body icing...

Then we had a beautiful day so we played outside and went to the park

all afternoon! Katelyn was a big help with the girls and they all loved her!

Bella loved all the new dress up clothes the girls had!

After a day of fun...Baths for everyone!

Scott and Amy, I am so glad that we were able to spend the weekend with the girls and help you out! We truly enjoyed the it and had LOTS of fun!

Girls Day Continues...

After the show we went to Trader's Point Creamery to have lunch and
had to have some of their fabulous homemade ice cream! I ordered one cup for Bella and I to share and she wouldn't have it! She knew this was too good to share and had to have her own! She ate it all and pulled it closer as our waitress started to take plates away to make sure she wouldn't take her ice cream!
Then we went down to the barn and checked out the cows and chickens.

Can you strut and Cluck like a Chicken??? We were able to get super close to the cows...thanks for yummy diary products you make!

Sleeping Beauty...

This morning we went to see Sleeping Beauty with

It was a fabulous show and just perfect for

Bella! She was making silly faces

each time I try to take a picture! I think she was purely sitting there just to please me!

Meeting Brody..

We were so excited to finally meet Brody and see his family! He is such a sweet baby and just too cute!

I had Brody on my lap so didn't get the best picture on him.

We look forward to watching him grow, learn & love!

Girl Friends...

After play group we went to lunch, did some shopping and girls had a sweet treat! What a perfect way to share an afternoon with your girlfriends!!!

Milking the Cow...

I thought that Bella would be all about milking the cow but she was a little hesitant about it

until her friend, Fallyn, showed her how it was done.
Bella decided to try it and
liked it!

Discover Station...

Thursday with play group we hit Conner Prairies Discovery Station. It was lots of imagination play for the kids and easy for us to keep an eye on them while we talked. It was a small group due to the new baby boy boom. We met Amber, Fallyn & Charlie and Cortne and Gavin.

It was a fun morning!

Park...

Tuesday it was BEAUTIFUL out so after gymnastics we hit Holland park and

Were Silly...
Went down the slides...

Climbed up to the top of the BIG slide and mommy went down with me!

Through the tunnels!

Of course went swinging for a long time! We were at the park for 2.5 hours and had soooo much fun! We left with Bella kicking and screaming!
