Let's make cookies...

After we warmed up from playing outside Izabella helped me make chocolate chip cookies for the first time from scratch. She loved it and so did I.
I had everything measured out so she got to pour everything in to the bowl all by herself. She helped me with the mixer and when we were done got to enjoy the best part of making cookies...licking the beaters!!!
YUM!
She was proud to offer her cookies to family members who have stopped by this week!
I am sure we will be doing it again soon, although it is terrible for my waistline!

Snow Day....FINALLY!!!

I have waited all winter to get out and play in the snow with Bella!!! We havne't had much snow at all but little dusting...well that all changed Tuesday night we got about a foot of snow!
We had sooo much fun!!!
Bundled up and ready to play!
Walkign through the snow!
It was hard work!

We dug out all her toys that were in the backyard!
We both made snow angels!
The only bad thing was we got our mini van stuck in the driveway! Thank goodnes we have a good friend, Gordie, with a truck, plow and chains to get us out! Gordie, THANK YOU sooo much!!!

Our Little Artist...

When she started she was painting very delicate and neat....then she realized how fun it was to get
MESSY!!!
First time I braved getting the paint out and letting Bella explore her talents, although I still controlled the environment with putting her in her high chair. She had lots of fun and thank goodness that Crayola makes everything washable!
We came out with 5 beautiful masterpieces!!!!

Zoe...

On Friday night we had to put our sweet Zoe girl to rest.
It was a very quick, we discovered an hour before that she had a tumor on her spleen which within 24 hours had caused he to stop eating and walking. Also caused her to have internal bleeding!
We lost a part of our family. Zoe was our "first baby" so to speak. She used to go every where with us, and loved car rides. She was a family dog, and very good companion! Always wanted to please us and never caused any trouble... only just a few times as a puppy! Loved to play, run in the back, swim( and was a beautiful doggie swimmer), eat, be lazy girl! She was awesome with kids, growing up with the Kirk kids helped prepare her to be a GREAT big sister to Izabella. We often found that she had broken into Bella's room to sleep next to her bed. She would let Bella do anything to her. Bella has asked about her every day since she has been gone. Hard thing to explain to a 2 year. She was a great mom, very patience with Peyton and all his playing ways. We can tell Peyton is lost without her, he isn't eating except when I add cottage cheese to his food. She loved to visit and play with all her 4 legged friends, Tucker, Cooper, Georgia & Macy!
Poor girl did have numerous allergies and low thyroid after she had the pups but she was always a tough cookie when going through surgeries or treatment.
We know we did the right thing for Zoe but she will be missed for a long time to come!
Thanks for always being such a wonderful dog and all the love, friendship and great memories, Zoe gir!!!
We miss you tons and love you!!!!

Betty Crocker in the making...

Not only does she play in her kitchen all the time, now she is interested in cooking with mommy...
this morning she helped me make her eggs for breakfast. It is amazing she knows the steps that go into making them!
I look forward to lots of fun with her in the kitchen!
I always loved cooking with my mom too!

BRRRRRRRRRRR....

I was cleaning out our hat & glove bin today and Bella decided it was so cold that she needed to throw a hat on!!! Funny this was her hat from last year so it looks like a little beanie on her head now! We had a fun day playing games and make believe all day although around 5pm we did decide to get out of the house and stock up at Walmart.
It is FREEZING her in Indy, we haven't seen temps like these for over 5 years!!!!
