Zoe...

On Friday night we had to put our sweet Zoe girl to rest.
It was a very quick, we discovered an hour before that she had a tumor on her spleen which within 24 hours had caused he to stop eating and walking. Also caused her to have internal bleeding!
We lost a part of our family. Zoe was our "first baby" so to speak. She used to go every where with us, and loved car rides. She was a family dog, and very good companion! Always wanted to please us and never caused any trouble... only just a few times as a puppy! Loved to play, run in the back, swim( and was a beautiful doggie swimmer), eat, be lazy girl! She was awesome with kids, growing up with the Kirk kids helped prepare her to be a GREAT big sister to Izabella. We often found that she had broken into Bella's room to sleep next to her bed. She would let Bella do anything to her. Bella has asked about her every day since she has been gone. Hard thing to explain to a 2 year. She was a great mom, very patience with Peyton and all his playing ways. We can tell Peyton is lost without her, he isn't eating except when I add cottage cheese to his food. She loved to visit and play with all her 4 legged friends, Tucker, Cooper, Georgia & Macy!
Poor girl did have numerous allergies and low thyroid after she had the pups but she was always a tough cookie when going through surgeries or treatment.
We know we did the right thing for Zoe but she will be missed for a long time to come!
Thanks for always being such a wonderful dog and all the love, friendship and great memories, Zoe gir!!!
We miss you tons and love you!!!!

Our thoughts are with you-we had a guest speaker at church this week and she was talking about her dog and her qoute was "There is a reason that dog is God backwards."

I never even met Zoe but I cried as I read your entry. I know how hard losing a dog can be. Hang in there. My sympathies. - Debbie

Loved her so much! So many of our memories of Tucker include our first "playdates & sleepovers" and family vacations with the Maines Family & Zoe. They did train us well for kiddos. Big hugs from the Reusser Family!
