Pacer's Game...

Monday night we took Bella and her friend, Emily to the Pacer's game with us! Bella had gone last year with them and she has asked numerous times to go back!
The girls silly dancing made it on the Mega Tron twice!!!
I am sure it had nothing to do with the house only being 1/4 full but how cute they were!
They were more excited to see Boomer than anything else!

Tim found a great deal and got us great seats at club level right behind the TV broadcast booth!
Although Monday was the night the Ice Storm was suppose to roll in to Indiana, on the way downtown it was fine and coming home it had just started and was still like rain so we were safe and sound! We knew we had precious cargo in our hands and wouldn't risk them being getting hurt!
It was fun winter outing and the Pacer's won to top it off!!!

Toy Story on Ice

EXCITEMENT!!! Even though as soon as the arena went dark for the show to start Bella had her ears covered for about 15minutes and the she realized it was going to be a FUN night!!!
Silly hat that came with her $12 cotton candy! Yes, daddy said the Cotton Candy was .50 and the hat was $11.50.
O well it was for a special night!
Bella was super excited to be sitting with her friends Emily & Colton!!!

Barbie was her favorite part of the show! It was a cute, cute, number!
Shaking their booties at the end of the show!!!

Toy Story on Ice was a GREAT show and a FUN family night!!!!

Spaghetti Factory

The McGrath Family

The Gamble Family

Since we were already downtown Indy Wednesday, we decided to make a day of it!
After we left Riley Hospital,we headed to Circle Center to shop a little while. Then we met some friends at the Spaghetti Factory before Toy Story on Ice. It was Bella's first time and she had fun eating with her friends!

Annual Riley Visit....

Wednesday afternoon we had our annual Riley appt to have Bella's hearing tested and check in with Dr Miyamoto.
This time she got to do the big girl hearing test and it took 1/4 of the time that the other one took! Bella responded to every tone/sound! Good news, that hearing in her left her remains great!
Dr Miyamoto looked at both of Bella's ears, asked if we had any concerns, and we didn't.
He went over the "time line"again and explained benefits of this procedure. He thought we should check in with the plastic surgeon who will reconstruct her outer ear first. It has been 2 years since we have seen him so we will check in again and then wait! Bella will probably be 7-8 before we start the process and at that point her ear will be closer to adult size.
I have said this before but we are truly blessed with a healthy and happy child!
You are reminded of that the moment you walk in the door at Riley Hospital!
Thankful for a day full of good news!

Day at Grammy J's

Miss Jenny took off MLK and luckily Grammy J had to day off work so Bella spent the day there!!!
As you can see, sweet Macy, was Bella's playmate for the day! I guess she even went outside with the lei on.
She has so much fun when she gets to spend the day with her grandparents! Days she will treasure about her childhood, I am sure!
Tim and I are so thankful for their help!

A visit to Decatur, IL...

Move over late Poker nights...hello a few fun games of Old Maid!!!

Meeting Beautiful, Olivia Rose!!!

Friday after school Bella and I headed to Decatur IL to visit our friends, Jim and Allison and meet their little, Olivia! Olivia was such an adorable, sweet, good baby while we were there!
We enjoyed dinner and then playing Old Maid Friday night! (Allison got Bella this new card game that we all re-introduced ourselves to playing) Saturday Jim made us a yummy breakfast as we enjoyed lounging around. Then we headed to some cute shops in Decatur and had lunch before Bella and I hit the road again! It was a great little trip and a pleasure to meet Olivia!
THANKS for having us, and we hope to see you again soon!

Monkey Joe's!!!

What a great afternoon of FUN and burning energy!

I can't believe that we had never been to Monkey Joe's! Maybe because a year ago, I would of had to climb through the whole thing with Bella but now that fear is gone and she had a BLAST with her friend, Mimi!!!
We will definitely be heading back soon!

Enjoy a little more.....

After our friends left we spent the rest of the night at home together. We had a nice steak and shrimp dinner before Tim before he had to go to work to DJ for the "yougins"....
Then I had movie night with Bella....we danced, laughed, sang and threw many balloons around and at each other as we watched Camp Rock. Who knew I would have sooo much fun on NYE doing these simple things....
SO.....my NY resolutions is to laugh, dance, sing, and ENJOY the simple moments with my family and friends more!
It is true that the years seem to go by faster and faster the older we get....I can't believe that Bella's is 4, that I am 34, Tim is 2 years away from 40(eeeek)and it is 2011....
really where has the time gone?!?!
I know this will be easier said than done and not always possible, but my hope for 2011 is to forgo the list sometimes, the computer, the everyday "stuff " that bogs you down and ENJOY and savor the the year a little more! Watch my sweet little girl explore, adventure, love, learn, grow and have fun and to do the same for myself!!!!
My wish for you is to ENJOY 2011 a little more,
however that may be for you!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR from our family to yours!!!
