A Wicked Night...

For Mother's Day we got our moms a ticket to the Wicked performance in Indianapolis!

So, Friday night we made an evening out of it! We went to Iaria's for a good Italian dinner and then off to the show!

This was the second time I had seen it and think that this time it was even better! It is a fabulous show!!!

It was a fun night!

new Baby Boy!!!

Andrew Thomas was born on

June 6th...more than a week before his scheduled c-section.

Surprise!

He was 8lb. 14 oz. and 21 inches long.

Jason, Susan and Big Sister Elizabeth are thrilled he is here and healthy!!!

We can't wait to meet him!!!

Congrats again...we are sooo happy for you!!!

Freezer Jam...

First you take the strawberries and you clean and cut them...
Then you mash em' you mash em'...

Then you stir in 1 1/2 cups of sugar and one pkg of Ball's Freezer Jam and 4 cups of mashed fruit

and

Stir for 3 minutes...

Then you measure the mixture out in Ball's Freezer containers and let stand for 30 minutes

and you have....

FREEZER JAM!!!

Strawberry Picking...

Tuesday we went to Spencer Farms to pick strawberries...

Bella loved eating them on the spot and running up and down the rows!
Jackson was the master picker with getting 5lbs on his own!
Amber, Charlie and Fallyn joined us!

Charlie ate whatever was in his way of the berry!

Abby and I had planned on going to the concert but her husband Scott got her 2 tickets for Mother's Day!

It was a great concert!

I can't remember the last time I was at a concert and had so much fun! The whole concert goers...

Jim's in town...

Since our friends Jim and Allison moved to Decatur, IL last year I think I have only seen each of them once. I was excited to go out to dinner with Jim and catch up! We missed not seeing Allison though!
Jim was so sweet to even get Bella a new Dora bath toy which she loves!

Today was Bella first session in the 2 1/2 class...

Following the obstacle that Mr Troy set up! I have to say I was impressed that she followed it so closely!
There is a little run-away in her class so by the end the girls were all going in different directions...it was entertaining to watch Mr Troy capture them!
